Bruce Springsteen Endorses Kamala Harris, Proving Once Again He’s a Watered-Down Democrat

To no one’s surprise, Bruce Springsteen has once again thrown his support behind a Democrat—this time Kamala Harris—continuing his decades-long alignment with the party. Springsteen, sitting in a diner in a video posted to Instagram, declared his backing for Harris and her running mate, Tim Walz, calling their vision one that "respects and includes everyone" and "benefits all, not just a few like me on top."

But for many, including conservative rocker Aaron Lewis, this endorsement feels like yet another betrayal. In Lewis' hit song "Am I The Only One," he slams Springsteen directly, admitting he has to turn off the radio whenever a Springsteen song comes on. Lewis’ frustration echoes a sentiment shared by many who feel Springsteen’s music once resonated with working-class Americans but now reflects an out-of-touch elite mentality.

Springsteen’s latest endorsement, alongside other celebrity backers like Taylor Swift and Oprah Winfrey, signals his continued loyalty to the Democratic party. Despite claiming to represent the "common man," the singer has consistently sided with establishment politicians, backing figures like Joe Biden, Barack Obama, and even John Kerry. His attack on Donald Trump as the "most dangerous candidate" is predictable, as Springsteen has become a go-to figure for the left.

While Springsteen touts unity and inclusion, many see his unwavering support for Democrats as proof that he’s strayed far from the gritty, working-class image that made him famous.
