Bull escapes during rodeo in Oregon injuring three spectators

Three individuals sustained injuries when a bull broke loose into the crowd at a rodeo near Bend, Oregon, during the weekend.

The chaos unfolded at the Sisters Rodeo in Oregon when a bull named Party Bus vaulted over a six-foot fence, causing pandemonium among the spectators.

Upon clearing the barrier, the bull embarked on a brief rampage near the concessions area, resulting in one woman being propelled into the air while others scrambled for safety, reports Taste of Country.

The rodeo organizers issued a statement regarding the incident:

"On Saturday, June 8, 2024, during the final segment of the bull riding event at the Sisters Rodeo, a bull breached a perimeter fence. In response, the rodeo announcer immediately enacted the emergency response protocol. The bull proceeded through the rodeo premises and returned to the livestock holding pens. Prompt action by rodeo livestock professionals ensured the safe containment of the bull. It was swiftly corralled adjacent to the livestock holding pens by our rodeo pickup personnel and promptly secured in an enclosure."
