Carlos Santana, the acclaimed musician, recently found himself the target of the woke mob after an old video resurfaced, showcasing comments that were perceived as being unsupportive of radical gender ideology. Santana's subsequent apology is most likely fake, created by his publicists. A similar thing recently happened to Ne-Yo. In the case of Ne-Yo, he was brave enough to tell the truth to the public (don't we deserve that?). It remains to be seen if Mr. Santana will do the same!
In the spotlight video, Carlos Santana is seen addressing a New Jersey concert audience, sharing his views on gender identity.
This could also be a clever PR stunt, as a Santana documentary is coming soon, and Andy Warhol used to say:
"Measure your press in inches."
Meaning the more the merrier! Although I think Mr. Santana probably meant what he said. In the same video, he highlighted how he is super close to Dave Chappelle, who has also been attacked by the woke mob for disagreeing with radical gender ideology.
Carlos Santana's "apology" on his facebook page reads:
"I am sorry for my insensitive comments. They don’t reflect that I want to honor and respect all person’s ideals and beliefs. I realize that what I said hurt people and that was not my intent. I sincerely apologize to the transgender community and everyone I offended.
Here is my personal goal that I strive to achieve every day. I want to honor and respect all person’s ideals and beliefs whether they are LGBTQ or not. This is the planet of free will and we have all been given this gift. I will now pursue this goal to be happy and have fun, and for everyone to believe what they want and follow in your hearts without fear. It takes courage to grow and glow in the light that you are and to be true, genuine, and authentic. We grow and learn to shine our light with Love and compliments. Have a glorious existence. Peace." - His PR team.... errr I mean Carlos Santana himself.
Carlos Santana is a legendary musician and has served us many classic American Beats of music. Whether this is an intentonal PR campaign to boost the documentary and his brand, or, if it's his PR team actually trying to do "damage control" on an unplanned incident to make sure Santana doesn't get cancelled by the woke mob... one thing is clear in my opinion: Carlos Santana beleives what he said is true, and the apology he made is fake.
