The song hearkens back to a pro-family time in America with strong father figures. The song also takes aim at the rise in soft-parenting across younger generations of parents.
"My daddy never thought twice about reaching into the back seat / He'd pull that Buick over if he had to, in a heartbeat," Prather sings. "There was no timeout corner / And there was no talking back."
Prather's new song goes on to slam Hollywood's obsession with sex in entertainment, saying his father never had to change the channel for unsavory content.
"Role models weren't gangsters / Or supermodels on crack / What happened to that," Prather sings. "What happened to love thy neighbor and in God we trust / There's a big old fly in the apple pie here in America."
"Where's the fire and where's the fight / The standing up for what is right," the song continues. "It used to be against the law to burn our flag / So what happened to that."
Prather has once again tapped into the soul of America with his latest track. With Donald Trump scheduled for his second inauguration in a few short weeks, perhaps the country will once again return to it's previous greatness.
