Ian Miles Cheong Praises Elon Musk, SLAMS Leftists During Baste Records Podcast

Free speech advocate and political commentator Ian Miles Cheong made an appearance on Friday's Baste Records podcast and discussed American exceptionalism, pop culture, and radical transgender ideology.

Cheong, whose X account boasts over 1.2 million followers, was joined by Baste Records songwriter, producer, and podcast host Chris Wallin, along with Baste Records CEO Matthew Azrieli.

During the episode, the panel praised X owner Elon Musk for his course-of-history-changing purchase of the platform, then-Twitter, in 2022.

"Humanity was at a fork in the road and right at the the time Twitter was putting out or disseminating the woke mind virus ... that's a big reason why the world is the way it is with everybody being politically correct ... promoting transgenderism ... DEI and all that stuff," Cheong said. "Elon comes in buys it up and immediately everything just changes."

"Not only has he shifted the Overton window it's like he smashed it wide open," he contineud. "Without him without him I don't think Trump would be president."

Cheong and the panel also praised Andy Ngo investigative journalism covering radical transgender terrorist group, Ziz.

"If there's such a thing as investigative journalism you know in today's day and age you don't often see it. He's actually doing it," Cheong said. of Ngo. "He's nailing it Andy's great Andy's great yeah he is yeah one of the few real good journalists oh for sure well especially on the right."

As far as music reccomendations, Cheong said he listens to a lot of retrowave like Kavinsky, which was featured in the 2011 Ryan Gosling film, Drive.
