That's insane! Just for reference, previous Album of the Year winners since 2020 had far less writers such as We Are by Jon Batiste with 13 songwriting credits, followed by Harry Styles' Harry’s House with 5 songwriting credits, and 2024's Midnights by Taylor Swift with 5 songwriting credits.
So Beyoncé needed 72 writers to come up with the most disrespectful country album probably in the genre's entire history?! Not only that, but she now has a total of 35 Grammy awards, the highest amount in history.
You're telling me she has more awards than music legend Quincy Jones?
All this proves to me is that she's the most astroturfed, overrated artist in history.
When will this woke DEI push be over? Who cares that Beyoncé is a black woman? Good for her. I'm not a fan of pop or R&B, but I'm sure she does fine enough in those genres. I'm not even saying she shouldn't be allowed to dip her toes into country, heck, even Post Malone put out a country album. But at least show the genre and its fans some darn respect.
We can all see through the industry's push to make her bigger than she should be. Make country great again.
