Maren Morris Insists on Importing San Francisco Drag Culture to Tennessee

Could the singer-songwriter get arrested for exposing her children to drag performances in the state of Tennessee? At a recent performance, she has protested the state's new law. She is convinced that children in the state of Tennessee should have the right to view drag performance, just as it is like in San Francisco where the "Drag Queen Story Hour" cultural occurence originally started. What is the deal here?

Plainly, the new law states:

"It is an offense for a person to engage in an adult cabaret performance: (A) On public property; or (B) In a location where the adult cabaret performance could be viewed by a person who is not an adult."

It goes on to define the-thing-in question:

"Adult cabaret performance" means a performance in a location other than an adult cabaret that features topless dancers, go-go dancers, exotic dancers, strippers, male or female impersonators who provide entertainment that appeals to a prurient interest, or similar entertainers, regardless of whether or not performed for consideration;"

Maren has made Nashville her home for the last 10 years and is originally from Arlington, Texas. Perhaps if she is so serious about having her child hang out with drag performers she should go to San Francisco or another state that allows it?
