UPDATED: Woke Mob Coerces Ne-Yo's Publicist Into Posting Fake Apology to Support Radical Gender Ideology and Transgender Surgeries for Children

R&B sensation Ne-Yo recently found himself at the center of a storm when a dared to share his thoughts on transgender children. Subsequent to his comments, Ne-Yo issued an apology in accordance with the dictats of the woke mob who beleive in radical gender ideology and transgender surgeries for children. Recently though, his apology was revoked. As the American Beat predicted, the retraction was one done purely for PR and didn't reflect what Ne-Yo truly thinks. Kudos to Ne-Yo for standing up for what he beleives in.

In video interview with Gloria Velez for VladTV, Ne-Yo questioned the societal shift regarding gender identity, stating, "When did it become ok for a 12-year-old boy to say he wants to be a girl?". He further went on to say: "I feel like the parents have almost forgotten what the role of a parent is. If your little boy comes up to you and says, "Daddy, I wanna be a girl" you just let him rock with that?"

The term woke mob is used to describe an online collective that mobilizes to cancel and silence opinions or statements they consider politically incorrect or insensitive. Ne-Yo found himself in the crosshairs of such a mob, as his comments were criticized for appearing dismissive and for allegedly promoting a view that could be harmful to children.

As most do in times like this, Ne-Yo bent his knee to the woke mob. Actually, in a surprising update, he didn't. The apology was put up by his publicist. In this fake apology, he expressed regret for any pain his comments may have caused and thereby implicity affirmed his support for radical gender ideology and surgeries for children. Prior to his apology retraction, some were quick to comment on this, like Zuby who responded:

Ne-Yo's statements and subsequent and abrupt apology from his pubicist shows the infuence of the woke mob on shaping public opinion and discourse. While this public statement was made to make ammends, is it truly what Ne-Yo thinks behind closed doors? Or is it just something that he has to do for PR purposes? Well, now we know. It was just PR, and Ne-Yo bravely stood up for his independent thought.
