Beyoncé Donates Millions to LA Fire Relief

Beyoncé has announced $2.5 million in donations to those impacted by California's devastating fires through her BeyGOOD charity foundation.

"Los Angeles we stand with you. 🫶🏽," the organization wrote in an Instagram post. "BeyGOOD is taking action by announcing the LA Fire Relief Fund with a donation of 2.5 million dollars."



Per the charity, funds are earmarked for families directly impacted in the Altadena/Pasadena area who have lost their homes, along with churches and communtiy centers to immediately address those affected by the fires.



BeyGOOD directed those interested in assisting impacted families to visit their website.

Along with BeyGOOD, The Walt Disney Company has pledged $15 million to rebuilding and relief efforts, Paramount and Fox Corp. have donated $1 million to the American Red Cross and Los Angeles Fire Department. Warner Music and Blavatnik Foundation have also announced an initial $1 million in aid to Los Angeles for relief and rebuilding efforts, Variety reported.



LiveNation is also planning a FireAid benefit concert in Inglewood on Jan. 30, and the Grammy Awards are expected to assist in funds for music-centric Los Angelinos, the outlet reported.

Thousands of structures, including homes, have been destroyed from the devstating fires leaving upwards of 25 dead in its wake, though more deaths are expected to be reported.
