Gene Simmons Tears Into the Woke Music Machine, Says Hollywood Needs to Shut Up

Hollywood has officially lost the plot. The woke music machine is running wild, turning entertainers into political lecturers instead of musicians. Gene Simmons, the legendary KISS co-founder, isn’t having it. He’s fed up with celebrities using their platforms to lecture hardworking Americans instead of doing what they’re actually good at: making music.

In a recent TMZ interview, Simmons made it clear that most people aren’t interested in political opinions from stars. “Do your art and shut up,” he said. “Nobody’s interested in your opinions, that includes me. Who I vote for. Who I like.… who the f**k do you think you are?”

Simmons isn’t shy about politics himself, having praised Trump in the past, but he understands the difference between speaking out responsibly and turning every platform into a political megaphone.

Fans come to enjoy music and entertainment, not endless woke messaging. With decades in rock, Israeli-Jewish roots, and a career that’s survived every cultural shift, Simmons sees the industry for what it really is: arrogant, out-of-touch, and hijacked by ideology.

It’s a refreshing reminder: Hollywood should shut the pie-hole and let the music do the talking.
