Jon Kahn, the artist behind the Billboard #1 hit "Fighter" — an unforgettable anthem dedicated to President Trump — has just released his most personal and heartfelt song yet.
After losing his home in the devastating LA fires, Mr. Kahn turned inward, reaching for something greater than himself. What he found was a renewed sense of faith and now he’s sharing that journey with the world through "Fingerprints."
This beautiful track feels like a conversation with the divine, a raw and emotional reflection on heartbreak, struggle, and ultimately, hope. It’s the kind of song that speaks to anyone who's ever felt lost but held onto the belief that there’s a higher plan.
The lyrics are vulnerable and honest:
"I didn’t know there was more I could lose / Up in the sky I could only see blue / But if my eyes were really open / I would’ve found the clues…”
Kahn credits country music legend Jeffrey Steele for mentorship and friendship on this project, and the result is nothing short of inspiring. With stunning cinematography and a powerful mix by Kyle Manner, "Fingerprints" is a deep yet simple song that reminds us that no matter how dark life gets, God leaves His fingerprints on all of us.
Kahn shared on social media:
“I’ve experienced tremendous loss recently. But in these past few years, I’ve found something even greater — something I never anticipated: Faith. It’s never too late, and I hope this song reaches even just a few who might believe otherwise.”
At a time when the world feels uncertain, Mr. Kahn’s voice comes through with strength, vulnerability, and hope and it's exactly the kind of American spirit we need more of.
