Tomi Lahren Calls Out Kelsea Ballerini for Bringing Out Drag Queens During CMT Award Show Performance

Tomi Lahren has called out country music singer Kelsea Ballerini for making a statement in support of the LGBTQ+ community at the CMT Awards last night by bringing out drag performers Manila Luzon, Jan Sport, Kennedy Davenport, and Olivia Lux from the popular reality competition show, RuPaul's Drag Race.

There has been tension in Nashville around the trans community considering recent events involing a mass shooting at the Covenant school by a trans identifying person and recent legislation in Tennessee that threatens to ban adult cabaret performances for children, which presumably includes prohibiting the controversial "Drag Queen Story Hour" that began in San Francisco, where drag queens read books to children in school.

By performing, “IF YOU GO DOWN (I'M GOIN' DOWN TOO)” with drag queens, Kelsea seems to be marking her support for their lifestyle at large and opposition to banning things like "Drag Queen Story Hour". In response, conservative commentator Tomi Lahren has pointed out that the promotion of the LGBTQ+ lifestyle seems to be almost everywhere in modern society, including the country music industry.

What do you think? Has the country music industry gone full woke?
