I'll admit, her music is catchy and I won't go out of my way to turn it off, but just like all these mainstream artists out there, as soon as she opens her mouth, I immediately want to turn the channel.
Why do celebrities think its their mission in life to stand on their soapbox and grovel about some dumb social justice cause while accepting an award in front of all their rich and famous friends?
First, we had Chappell Roan, which is just a 2024 woke reboot of Boy George, grovel about artists receiving healthcare and a "living wage." But if that wasn't out of touch enough, now we have Lady Gaga droning on about the radical trans agenda.
"Trans people are not invisible," Gaga said. "Trans people deserve love. The queer community deserves to be lifted up."
Whoever said these people were invisible? Most of the time, they're wearing the most ridiculous costumes. They go out of their way to tell you how trans and queer they are. They're the loudest, most obnoxious people around!
"Music is love," she signed off her acceptance speech. Music is love? What does that even mean. Music is music. It makes you feel emotions. Sometimes they're good emotions, sometimes they're bad emotions, but the artistry is music's ability to make you feel.
Man, where's Ricky Gervais to absolutely destroy these people? I'm so sick of award shows.
