Longtime Democrat Grifter Charlamagne Tha God Calls Out Failure of DEI

During his guest-hosting stint on The Daily Show Wednesday night, Charlamagne Tha God delivered a scathing critique of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) policies, calling them "mostly garbage" despite their well-intentioned nature, SCRN reports.

Charlamagne kicked off the segment by defining DEI as "more fair hiring policies," "anti-discrimination rules for the workplace," and "sensitivity training seminars." However, he quickly shifted to a series of jokes about the initiative and woke companies' hiring processes.

"Ask your doctor if black people are right for you!" Charlamagne quipped. "Nobody's buying Vaseline because of diversity. Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever bought Vaseline, it's just there. It comes with the house."

He continued with segments from Fox News discussing DEI as a racist framework, sarcastically remarking, "DEI stands for Dr. Dre, Eazy-E, and Ice Cube. Y'all cheering out there, but do you want N---as With Attitude coming to your office?"

Charlamagne warned the audience that they might not like the rest of his segment, comparing DEI to the "black Little Mermaid," suggesting that just because racists hate it doesn't mean it's effective.

He criticized DEI policies for not genuinely benefiting minorities in the workplace and highlighted the lack of black leadership in big companies despite years of supposed progress. Charlamagne also mocked the notion of DEI training, likening it to the ineffective Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) program from school days. "DEI training is like D.A.R.E. for racism," he said.

"I was sitting there going like oh s---, there's a ton of fun drugs out there to try!'" Charlamagne joked. "I didn't even know about Molly. Thanks, Officer John."

He continued, "In fact, maybe the only thing DEI has accomplished is giving racist white people cover to be openly racist," he said.

The radio host concluded by asserting that true DEI would only come from "black leadership," accusing current DEI efforts of being nothing more than corporate PR and a way for companies to avoid real accountability for discrimination.

"It's the 'I have a black friend' of the legal system!" Charlamagne quipped. "Yes, we want diversity, and equity, and inclusion. But we don't want it from Vaseline!"
