Morgan Wallen brought joy to a young cancer patient in Mississippi over the weekend through a partnership with the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Twelve-year-old Jayla Hibbler, who recently completed her chemo and radiation treatments, had her wish granted to meet her favorite artist, Fox reports.
During Wallen's "One Night At A Time" tour stop in Oxford, Jayla had the opportunity to spend time with the singer. The Morgan Wallen Foundation shared on Instagram that she received "custom boots and an outfit" as part of her special day.
Local news outlet WDAM-TV reported that Jayla was pleasantly surprised when she learned her wish had been granted. Initially expecting to go shopping, she was instead greeted by Make-A-Wish Mississippi, who informed her about meeting Wallen.
Jayla, who is battling stage 4 Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma, expressed her excitement and gratitude for the experience.
This heartwarming gesture comes just weeks after Wallen's recent arrest in Nashville for alleged reckless behavior. Despite the legal troubles, Wallen proceeded with his concert at Ole Miss over the weekend, where he addressed the audience, acknowledging his past actions and expressing remorse.
