John Legend Melts Down Over Trump, Pushes Woke Music Machine Talking Points

Grammy-winning singer John Legend has once again reminded Americans why the entertainment elite are so out of touch. In a resurfaced video, Legend, whose fame skyrocketed alongside his wife Chrissy Teigen in the Hollywood echo chamber, accused President Trump of believing the “white race is superior”—a wild claim that even many liberals would struggle to justify.

Legend didn’t hold back in his tirade. “America made a decision that I strongly disagree with and it seems that we are reaping the whirlwind right now,” he said, referencing Trump’s election as though it were some apocalyptic event rather than a democratic outcome. He painted Trump as a “terrible leader,” blaming him for division while, ironically, doubling down on the same kind of divisive rhetoric that’s tearing the country apart.

During the event, seated in front of a giant sign that read “DEI is more than just a headline,” Legend went full activist, accusing Trump of promoting “genetic superiority” and “racial hierarchy.” The crowd, of course, cheered—because this wasn’t about truth, it was about signaling.

Commentator Dom Lucre nailed it when he called attention to the clip, exposing it as yet another example of how the woke music machine keeps its stars in line. You don’t get stage time unless you parrot the party line. Diversity? Equity? Inclusion? Those are just buzzwords in the industry’s marketing plan—unless you dare to think differently. Then you’re blacklisted.

The irony? These same artists who rail against “division” are the ones drawing the deepest lines. They can’t accept that millions of Americans love this country, want strong borders, and are tired of being talked down to by millionaire musicians who live in gated communities.

The real question isn’t why John Legend hates Trump—it’s why anyone still takes political advice from the guy who wrote “All of Me.”
