Kid Rock Blasts Live Nation After Employees Caught Mocking Fans as “Stupid” While Hiking Fees

Outlaw rocker Kid Rock is once again calling out what he sees as corruption inside the live music business—this time taking direct aim at concert giant Live Nation Entertainment after explosive internal messages surfaced in a federal case.

Reacting to reports tied to an antitrust lawsuit from the United States Department of Justice, Kid Rock didn’t hold back.

“DOES ANYONE CARE ABOUT THIS BUT ME? THESE… HAVE BEEN RAPING HARD WORKING AMERICANS FOR DECADES… AND LAUGHING ABOUT IT WHILE THEY DO IT,” he wrote, adding that corporate America needs to be publicly exposed.

The outrage comes after Slack messages from Live Nation employees revealed them joking about “gouging” fans for parking and VIP upgrades, even calling customers “so stupid” for paying inflated prices and bragging they were “robbing them blind.”

The messages are now part of a major federal case accusing Live Nation—parent company of Ticketmaster—of maintaining a monopoly over the live entertainment industry, driving up ticket costs while crushing competition.

For years, artists and fans alike have complained about skyrocketing ticket prices, hidden fees, and a lack of transparency. But for Kid Rock, this isn’t just about economics—it’s about what he and many critics see as a broken, exploitative system hiding behind a polished, “woke” corporate image.

“I don’t type this as a MAGA guy… I speak my truth as an American who loves this country,” he added.

His comments are resonating with a growing number of fans who feel priced out of live music altogether—paying hundreds, sometimes thousands, just to attend major shows.

As lawsuits continue and more internal details emerge, one thing is becoming clear: the battle over who controls live music—and how much fans are forced to pay—is far from over.
