Earlier this week, Rich called out fellow artists in the genre for their silence on Trump after it was annoucned that Carrie Underwood would perform at Trump's inauguration next week.
"There are several top tier country artists who support Trump, and I wish they'd finally have the balls to come forward and be counted," Rich wrote in an X post. "Ain't nothing outlaw about keeping your mouth shut to appease the record label."
"Carrie Underwood is making you look like a bunch of sissy boys," he added.
On Wednesday, Rich doubled down on his message and released a video which specifically called out Brad Paisley and Garth Brooks.
"Why is it that Garth Brooks has enough conviction about Joe Biden that he would sing at Joe Biden's inauguration. That he would walk up and give Hillary Clinton a big 'ol bear hug," Rich said. "Why is it that Brad Paisley will come to Nashville with Jill Biden and set up a Covid vaccine site, and tell everybody to do their patriotic duty and show up and get their Covid vaccine."
"I don't agree with those guys, but at least they had enough conviction to step forward and make those moves," he added.
On Thursday, Tritt responded to Rich's video.
"I’m so glad to hear someone finally talk about this!" Tritt responded in an X post. "If you are a Trump supporter in our industry, you have nothing to fear but fear itself."
"Don’t be afraid to speak up for what you believe in," he added.
